About
Hey there! I'm Kylie Robinson, a singer, actor, and musician based in Raleigh, NC.
I'm currently attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I’m double majoring in Quantitative Biology and Vocal Performance, with a minor in Musical Theatre.
Over the years, I've studied voice, dance, piano, and acting. During my senior year of high school, I received training at the NC Theatre Conservatory.
I made my professional debut in NC Theatre’s 9 to 5: The Musical during my freshman year of college. I've also worked with Theatre Raleigh, Company Carolina, and the Sips and Scripts New Works Festival. Currently, I am serving as the 2024-25 Artistic Director for UNC Pauper Players, UNC’s student-run musical theatre company.
Beyond the theatre, I frequently perform at festivals, markets, and events around the Triangle area. For the past four summers, I've had the honor of singing the National Anthem for the Durham Bulls and plan to continue doing so!
As a proud mixed Asian-American, I am passionate about AAPI arts advocacy. My experience living briefly in Taiwan as a child has deeply influenced my life, and I strive to promote Taiwanese culture and visibility. I've been fortunate to participate in several works highlighting the Asian-American experience, and I hope to continue collaborating with other AAPI creatives to share our stories.
